We have managed to get the kids wait list swimming weekly while adults aren’t allowed but they are will return on 20th May (please see forum post for information), so the rota will come back into force. We are hoping to get some extended pool time so we can still accommodate everyone, but this is still to be confirmed. Otherwise a rota will be put back in place
Entry has now closed to our first ever Kids Duathlon. But as usual we do need volunteers to help make this run smoothly. Friday late afternoon/evening sees the help of stake/tape volunteers to set-up the courses. Race day itself needs marshals. If you are able to help at all, please contact Lisa Webb on 07766821569 or email email@example.com
Club member Joel Harfield will be holding his next nutrition talk on 26th May at 18:30 covering the areas estimating energy requirements and the considerations of post exercise nutrition. Go to the members' Facebook group to find the details of how to take part.
And just to say a huge thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help with the running of the last three events the club has put on in the last few weeks (2x crit race days at the Bowl and the open TT). These events can't go ahead without you. However, if you're still waiting to get a volunteer fix, then why not reach out to Lisa and lend a hand for a couple of hours. It would be much appreciated!
